| This article applies to the following products: |
Training Wizard 98 2.98.21, 2.98.28, 2.98.34, 2.98.46, 2.98.50, 2.98.54
| Summary: |
When cancelling a self-paced registration, an error can sometimes occur. The text of the error varies. With a Microsoft SQL Server database, you may receive an OLE Automation error, or you may receive an error stating "The Command has been aborted". With Sybase and Oracle databases, you are more likely to see an error similar to this:
Integrity constraint violation: primary key for table 'COURSEREQUEST' is not unique

This error will occur in the following scenario:
This problem has been fixed in Training Wizard 2001 3.0.23. Upgrading to this release will eliminate this defect.
A patched version of TWSQL.DLL is also available for certain versions of Training Wizard 98 that will eliminate this error condition. Please note that if you are not running the version of Training Wizard 98 that the patched TWSQL.DLL is designed for, installing the patched TWSQL.DLL into your environment will almost certainly cause new errors to occur, and could potentially cause the loss or corruption of data. Gyrus Systems will not be responsible for any loss of data that occurs because the wrong version of TWSQL.DLL was installed into your environment.
If you are running Training Wizard 98 version 2.98.34, then you should download this TWSQL.DLL patch: TWSQL_2_98_34.EXE (112KB)
If you are running Training Wizard 98 version 2.98.50 or version 2.98.54, then you should download this TWSQL.DLL patch: TWSQL_2_98_50or54.EXE (112KB)
If you are running Training Wizard 98, but not one of the above versions, then you may upgrade to one of the above versions for free. After you have upgraded, you can then apply one of the patched versions of TWSQL.DLL.
After downloading the appropriate patch, then follow these steps to apply this patch:
