Article Title:		Training Wizard installation GPFs when "Verifying Database"

Training Wizard 98 (all versions)

When installing Training Wizard 98, after all file copying has completed, the installation program attempts to verify a connection to the Training Wizard database. In some situations, a GPF will occur at this point of the installation.

If the database that Training Wizard is connecting to already has Base Data installed from a previous client machine's installation of Training Wizard, but the database does not have Sample Data installed in it, a GPF will sometimes occur.

If a GPF occurs, the only portion of the install that is not complete is the creation of a program group and icons. Performing this manually is an acceptable workaround at this point.

Another workaround would be to modify the value of the SampleDataLoaded column on the Information table within the Training Wizard database. Setting the value of this column to 1 will trick the Training Wizard installation into thinking that Sample Data is already installed. You will have to re-run the Training Wizard install, but the GPF will no longer occur.

The problem has been eliminated in the Training Wizard 2001 installation.
